Khun Phaivanh, age 66, traveled from Tennessee in the United States for treatment. She was formerly a celebrated performer in Laos and was regarded as a queen of mor lam music. As she grew older, she developed facial laxity, particularly around the double chin and neck. Drooping brows and outer eye areas also made her face look less refreshed.
After spending a long time researching her options, Khun Phaivanh decided to consult Dr. Jay at The Art Plastic Surgery Hospital.
After surgery, she felt that her face looked naturally younger. She had not expected that, at her age, she could look so much more refreshed while still appearing natural—as though she had returned to her younger years. Because Khun Phaivanh is a well-known singer in Laos, preserving her distinctive facial identity was especially important to her. She was pleased that the result still looked like her and did not appear unusual or artificial.
